Wednesday was a big night for us. We read through the entire play with the new edits for Antoinette and it was really eye-opening. The foundation for the play is established and now we are going to go into each scene and relationship and crack it open. Black Boy's journey is a complicated one and Temesgen and I are just now starting to build those layers. Brandie is doing such a beautiful job with Miss Graham, making her both joyful, aggressive, and vulnerable. Just when rehearsal ends when the clock hits 10pm, we just unlock a new discovery!
